Tropical Storm Ian threatens the Caribbean, Florida with possible hurricane conditions

The weather system currently churning southeast of Jamaica is projected to intensify into a hurricane in the coming days. Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency for 24 counties in Florida.
