Fiona destroyed most of Puerto Rico's plantain crops — a staple for people's diet

Bananas, papaya and coffee were also affected, according to Puerto Rico's agriculture secretary. The plantain is one of the island's top commodities — and a key ingredient in many traditional dishes.
