Strictly Come Dancing heartthrob Vito Coppolo reveals the emotional reason he turned to dancing as a young boy
STRICTLY Come Dancing heartthrob Vito Coppolo has revealed how dancing changed his life as a young boy.
Vito is a professional dancer who has been performing from a young age.
Vito Coppala is a dancing champion and one of the Strictly pros[/caption] Vito won the Italian version of Strictly in 2021 with pop star Arisa[/caption]He’s no stranger to dancing on TV either, and won the Italian version of Strictly in 2021 with pop star Arisa.
In Italy, Vito is now a well known face on TV, and even appeared as a dancer on the Italian version of The Masked Singer.
Life, however, hasn’t always been plain sailing for the 29-year-old who recently admitted that, as a youngster, he was introvert.
“I started to dance at the age of seven and I am an 11-time Italian champion,” said Vito.

“When I was younger, I was introvert, I was not able to go to people to speak.
“So through dancing, I became more confident and dancing just changed my life.”
Earlier this month, it was revealed Vito had joined the pro line-up, along with Chinese National Champion Carlos Gu, former Under 21 British National Champion Lauren Oakley, and Latin dance champion Michelle Tsiakkas.
Announcing the news on Twitter, the BBC said: “Welcome Carlos, Lauren, Michelle and Vito who join the show and become part of the biggest pro line-up in Strictly history!”
Before signing up to the 2022 series, Vito exclaimed: “I am really excited to become part of this family.

Vito is an avid user of Instagram, and has an impressive 86,000 followers (as of September 2022).
The hunky dancer uses the platform to post shirtless selfies, and also share videos of his incredible dance moves.
