Enhancing history: Allegheny County using $9.2 million to build trails, spur development at Carrie Furnace

The Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County will use federal stimulus money to join Carrie Furnace in Rankin to the Great Allegheny Passage trail in Homestead by upgrading an old hot metal bridge.
