Ontario trying to delay shutdown of Pickering nuclear station amid electricity ‘supply crunch,’ sources say

The government will ask the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission for an extension to run the aging plant until 2026 to cover a looming shortage of electricity, the Star has learned.
