[Women's Soccer] Saints Get Dominate 11-0 Victory

Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College women's soccer team continued their Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon when they played host to Indiana University South Bend. Holy Cross started off hot and stayed hot throughout the game today. Starting off with Solena Cruz scoring in the 4th minute, assisted by Olivia Shaw. Taelyn Hendrickson found the back of the net two straight times once in the 23rd minute assisted by Olivia Shaw and once more in the 27th minute. Lauren Cernak scored in the 35th minute assisted by Olivia Shaw. In the last moments before half, Abby Craig would score a goal as time expired. Holy Cross went into the half 5-0. Holy Cross did not slow down coming out of half, with Abby Padilla scoring in the 55th minute assisted by Olivia Shaw. Mia Garatoni was able to score three straight goals, once in the 60th minute, once in the 64th minute, assisted by Kathleen Ming, and once more in the 81st minute assisted by Olivia Shaw. Taelyn Hendrickson was able to find two more goals towards the end of the game once in the 84th minute assisted by Ashlyn Craig and once more in the 86th minute assisted by Olivia Shaw. Holy Cross won the game 11-0 and with the win, Holy Cross stands at 3-2-6 overall and 2-2-2 in conference play, while IUSB moves to 0-9 and 0-5.
