Kirbs and Stef both back in contention
COLWYN BAY have their first home game in over a month with a top six clash against Prestatyn Town at the 4 Crosses Arena on Saturday (October 1st, 2:30pm kick off).
Manager Steve Evans confirms that top scorer James Kirby and Stefan Edwards will both be back in contention after missing the 4-1 win at Buckley Town last week, and that he has a full squad to pick from apart from Sam Fowles and Craig Linfield who are still out injured but are both progressing well with their rehab.
“We are looking forward to being back at Llanelian Road in front of the Seagulls fans again,” added the manager.
Sixth-placed Prestatyn won three of their opening five league games, but have lost their last two (both away to Porthmadog and Chirk AAA) as well as a 4-1 WBS League Cup defeat at Hotspur.
However, with their wins including a 3-1 victory away to Guilsfield and a 5-0 thumping of Penrhyncoch, only Colwyn Bay and Llandudno have scored more goals than Prestatyn this season, so they are not to be taken lightly.
