Knott’s Scary Farm offers chaperones 21 and older free admission if they accompany 5 minors

0

Knott’s Berry Farm has updated its chaperone policy for Knott’s Scary Farm.

According to the Buena Park theme park’s website, starting Thursday, Sept. 29, chaperones 21 and older who accompany a total of five minors, all with valid paid admission for Knott’s Scary Farm, will be given one complimentary chaperone admission ticket to use for that event night only. The complimentary chaperone ticket is limited to five minors.

Under the current chaperone policy at Knott’s scary farm, guests ages 17 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to the park. One chaperone may accompany no more than five guests ages 17 or younger and must remain with them throughout their visit. Visitors under 18 found in the park without a chaperone could face ejection.

In August, Knott’s Berry Farm announced that unaccompanied minors would not be able to attend Knott’s Scary Farm without a chaperone. The theme park’s decision was an extension of an earlier chaperone policy implemented in July after fights among teenagers caused the park to close early.

Knott’s Scary Farm is open now through Oct. 31 on select nights. For more information on Knott’s Scary Farm’s policies and hours of operation, go to www.knotts.com.
