A 28-year-old jawan of the India Reserve Battalion (IRB)-8 died on Wednesday morning after a bullet from his own INSAS rifle hit him in the chest. The incident took place on the Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) - 4 campus in Sector 12 police station area. Victim Sushil Kumar was rushed to Bokaro General Hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead.
