New Zealand opens national wine center to boost industry

WELLINGTON, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand is looking to a promising future of its winemaking industry as Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has officially opened New Zealand Wine Center on Thursday in Blenheim.

Funding of 3.79 million NZ dollars (2.15 million U.S. dollars) for the Marlborough Research Center to build a national wine center was announced in 2020.
