San Jose: Barricaded suspect arrested
SAN JOSE – A person wanted for violating a restraining order was taken into custody after he barricaded himself inside a San Jose business Wednesday, police said.
The incident began around 5 p.m. in the 5400 block of Snell Avenue, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Police said the person was possibly armed and was wanted on a felony warrant for violating a restraining order.
Flash bang grenades were used, according to police.
Around 8:10 p.m., police said the person had been taken into custody and would be booked into jail on the warrant.
Units are currently at the scene of a barricaded suspect in the 5400 block of Snell Av.
The suspect may be armed and is wanted for a felony warrant and violating a restraining order. The suspect is alone in a business.
Special Operations Officers are assisting.
