Morrisons is doing 5p off a litre of fuel until next Sunday
MORRISONS is helping customers to save money on their fuel by offering 5p off a litre of fuel.
The supermarket has said customers who spend a certain amount in store between September 29 and October 9 will get a 5p off coupon.
The offer will be available to use at all of Morrisons’ 339 petrol stations across the UK.
Customers have until October 16 to redeem their money-off voucher.
It comes as fuel prices fall back from record highs earlier this year, giving much-needed relief to hard-up households.
Last week petrol prices fell below 166p a litre, but a weak pound has prevented prices from falling further.

Rachel Eyre, chief customer and marketing officer at Morrisons, said: “Fuel prices are one of the biggest expenses people across the UK are facing as the cost of living increases.
“We want to help our customers save money wherever we can and hope this offer can help make budgets go a little further.”
Customers will get the 5p off petrol voucher by spending £40 at Morrisons, but only when buying certain products.
The items excluded from the offer include:

- cash back
- dry cleaning
- fireworks
- online games and instant tickets
- photo printing
- saver stamps
- postage stamps
- ‘Top-Up’ mobile phone cards
- delivery charges/pass
- garden centre
- pharmacy products
The coupons will not be valid at franchised Morrisons Daily petrol stations.

It’s not the first time Morrisons has offered customers money off their petrol for spending cash in-store.
The grocer brought in an offer in June 2019 to give shoppers a pay boost.
How does Morrisons discount work?
Customers will receive a coupon offering them 5p off their next litre of petrol after spending £40 in-store.
You won’t get the coupon if you shop online though.
Plus, you’ll only get one coupon per customer for each £40 shop.
To claim your fuel discount, you just have to present the coupon at the petrol station kiosk when you go to pay.
However, you should make sure to take care of the voucher as copied, damaged and defaced ones will not be accepted.
Nor can coupons be exchanged for cash and they can only be used to get a discount on up to a maximum of 100 litres of fuel.

If you exceed the 100 litre limit the 5p offer will no longer apply.
