I put it on a few times last week when we had some people round, can’t be having guests shivering when you have invited them into your house.

That did kind of break the seal, as put it on again yesterday so my missis wouldn’t be cold getting home from work as she was feeling a bit ill.

I think dropping the thermostat down to 18 or so degrees is fine, heating wont be pumping but the house wont get too cold. You don’t want it getting too cold as it then takes much more to heat up. Might actually be more cost effective to keep an even temp.
