Billie Faiers ‘confronted Ferne McCann over “fat c***” voicenote about sister Sam’

BILLIE Faiers confronted Ferne McCann after hearing the shocking voicenote which branded her sister Sam a “fat c***”, an insider has revealed.

Mum-of-three Sam made the decision to end her 20-year friendship with Ferne over the vile message, before even hearing the other 39 that are reportedly set to be leaked.

Ferne has been accused of being behind the audio, but has yet to publicly address it, despite numerous requests for comment.

An insider said: “Ferne and Billie had a phone call, Billie spoke to Ferne about the voicenotes which she denies and Ferne has accused Sam of getting the wrong end of the stick and twisting things.

“The phone call didn’t end well. The call happened before Sam blocked Ferne on all socials.

“Friends can’t believe what’s gone on, but it’s been the final straw in their rocky friendship.”

Yesterday Sam’s mum Suzie branded the voicenote a “vile attack”, telling her followers: “This has come as a complete shock to myself and my family.

“Ferne has always been a very close family member to all of us over the past 20 years.

“It appears the voicenote was sent just weeks after Samantha gave birth back in May.”

Last night a new recording was shared on Instagram with audio of a person who sounds like Ferne, saying: “She is just a narcissistic b***h .

“It’s just so s**t on people that have worked hard, because she’s got a big following. It’s just ridiculous, it’s out of order.” 

Again it’s not clear if the person speaking is Ferne or who they are referring to.

Sam and Ferne grew up together in Essex and later co-starred in The Only Way Is Essex – but Sam left in 2014 and Ferne quit two years later. 

Their friendship became strained in 2017 when Ferne launched her own reality show, Ferne McCann: First Time Mum, which documented her pregnancy and the birth of daughter Sunday, who she shares with ex Arthur Collins.

The launch of the programme came a few years after Sam launched The Baby Diaries, which was swiftly followed by The Mummy Diaries – and sources say Sam thought Ferne was “copying her”.

But the rift ended in 2018 at Sam’s sister Billie’s hen do in Ibiza – as Ferne is best friends with Billie, the pair had to come face to face. 

Fans fear the friendship will never be able to recover after this.
