I’m plus-size with big boobs & tried Kim Kardashian’s Skims – I got the bandeau in a 3XL but still wasn’t impressed
A PLUS-SIZE woman has shared her review of a few Skims items that at one point left her feeling disappointed with the fit of the pieces.
The big-busted woman shared a video detailing her lackluster experience trying on items from Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand.
Body positivity and self-love advocate Stephanie, known as @sstephanielauren on TikTok, gives viewers a look into how some of the Kardashian’s signature pieces fit on her particular body shape.
Much of her social media content pertains to spreading awareness about sizing issues, clothing buys from popular fashion companies, and body-positive motivational messages.
The content creator says at the start of the video that she purchased the items because of a pricing issue on the Skims website and took advantage of the opportunity.
In the haul video, Stephanie begins the video with an optimistic outlook on the brand before her disappointment with the sizing of the shapewear takes center stage.

Stephanie’s TikTok begins with her opening the Skims packaging and showing viewers the articles of clothing right out of the box.
One of the items she got was the Fits Everybody Bandeau Bra, $28, in Clay.
Upon removing the bra from its packaging, the digital creator appears shocked over the look and feel of the garment.
“Oh my God, it’s really thick and soft. I’m excited,” she says.

Though she removes the bandeau first from its packaging, Stephanie decides to try on the second Skims piece instead and puts on the Soft Lounge Long Slip Dress, $78, in Camel.
“Oh my God, I did not realize this was ribbed!” she exclaims excitedly upon removing the dress from its bind.
Once the Slip Dress is on her curvy figure, Stephanie appears incredibly satisfied about the fit.
“It’s giving body, ody, ody,” she states proudly.
The plus-size woman adds that she does love the fit but wishes she got the dress one size down, so it was a bit more snug.
“I really love it. It really kinda tucks everything back, but D*MN I look good,” she proudly proclaims.
The plan is to pair the dress and bandeau together as a way to provide additional bust support, so she then puts the Skims bra on under the dress.
The Aussie made it very clear that she was not happy with the way it looked on her.
She ordered the Fits Everybody Bandeau Bra in a 3XL and expressed confusion over why it was so tight and cut into her.
“It’s so tight in the back as well and it just digs under here [her armpits] like really badly. I do not understand how this is a 3XL,” she says.
In a sense, it did not exactly fit everybody as advertised by the product name or so the body-positive advocate thinks.
Stephanie says “yes to the dress” but gives the bandeau a hard no that only momentarily lasts before she realizes that she had the top on upside down and readjusts its position.
After restructuring the two pieces, the bandeau provides a lifted look that adjusts to the Slip Dress perfectly.
“It fits my tummy and it’s so much softer at the top,” she states.
Her review took an uphill turn at the end of the video with Stephanie appreciating the fit of the Fits Everybody Bandeau Bra paired with the Soft Lounge Slip Dress.
Her opinions of some of the Kardashian mogul’s popular ensembles were met with kind remarks and even more questions in the comment section of the video.
“You look gorgeous!! Have you worn the band for very long? Does it stretch out and start to slip throughout the day?” one viewer commented.
“Gorgeous!!! That dress was made for you!” another praised.
“Oh my god!! that dress on you is absolutely breathtaking!!” another added.
