But just days into training for the second week, Kaye revealed she had sustained a nasty injury to her ribs behind-the-scenes.
Chatting away to her Loose Women co-star Nadia Sawalha, she lifted her shirt to reveal the plaster which had been put over the bruises.
“Do you want to see my wound?” Kaye could be heard asking, before unzipping her jacket and lifting her shirt in an Instagram video.

“Just taping up my ribs,” she went on. “It’s not a plaster, it’s because there’s a big bruise on my ribs. I’ve been too energetic getting thrown around.”
She hinted the injury was thanks to her dance partner Kai, as Kaye suggested the pair had been practising some big lifts in their dances.
It comes after Kaye revealed she had sustained a different, more intimate injury just days into training for the BBC competition.
She took to her Instagram page to upload a snap showing the palm of her hand looking red raw and sore.

Kaye wrote: “First BBC Strictly injury,” before telling her following how it was caused: “From overenthusiastic clapping!”
The ITV anchor has also previously admitted how Strictly Come Dancing‘s rehearsal schedule has played havoc with her sleep.
She took to Twitter to write: “Struggled to sleep last night after the first day of Strictly rehearsals. Tried to count sheep but couldn’t get past 5, 6, 7, 8.”
Proof things come in threes, Kaye was then told she was “nearly deaf in one ear” ahead of taking to the dance floor.
The Sun exclusively reported how she had undergone a series of tests ahead of appearing on the hit BBC dance show and had been told she needs help.
She confirmed her “hearing is an issue” and that “I probably should be thinking about getting hearing aids”.
Kaye said the checks found one ear had a “poor level” of hearing and the other was trying to compensate.
She added: “My hearing is an issue, to the extent that I’ve had full consultations and examinations on my ears.
