Father & 17-Year-Old Son Charged With the Murder of PnB Rock
A father and son have both been charged with murder in the shooting of PnB Rock.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon made the announcement Thursday (September 29), following an investigation into the shooting death of the rapper, which occurred amid an armed robbery in South Los Angeles on September 12 while dining at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles.

According to the D.A., Freddie Trone and his 17-year-old son Shauntel Trone were both charged with one count of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery as well as two counts of second-degree robbery, via TMZ.
Freddie is reportedly still on the run from police. The 17-year-old’s stepmother was also charged in connection to the murder with one count of accessory afterward.
Freddie Trone and his son were reportedly already waiting in the parking lot when PnB arrived at the restaurant. The 17-year-old is the alleged shooter, and Freddie was the getaway driver. They apparently burned the car after the murder.
