Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Reportedly Postponing Docuseries Release - Find Out Why

A new report suggests that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are rethinking the content of their Netflix docuseries after the death of Queen Elizabeth.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s series with Netflix hasn’t even been officially announced by the streaming giant. However, earlier reports suggest that the project was expected to premiere after the new season of The Crown.

However, several sources told Page Six that the status of the series is in question.

It could be pushed back to 2023 at best, one said.

“A lot of conversations are happening. I hear that Harry and Meghan want the series to be held until next year, they want to stall,” they explained. “I wonder if the show could even be dead in the water at this point, do Harry and Meghan just want to shelve this thing?”

Another added that Netflix is pushing to get the series out. “Netflix has been keen to have the show ready to stream for December,” they said. “There’s a lot of pressure on (Netflix CEO) Ted Sarandos, who has the relationship with Harry and Meghan, to get this show finished.”

Some think that the goal is to change some of the content in the project following the death of Prince Harry‘s grandmother. Relations have reportedly been tense between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family.
