Toronto- and Frankfurt-listed Global Atomic has signed Development Consultants Private (DPCL) of Kolkata, India, and Lycopodium Minerals of Canada to start the basic and detailed engineering, procurement and project management of the Dasa mine processing plant in Niger. These engineering and project delivery firms were selected to form an integrated engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) project team, synthesising proven uranium processing plant design experience with West African project management and construction experience.
