MFA Warned: Bulgarians with Dual Citizenship in Russia are Subject to Mobilization

The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) issued a warning that Bulgarians in Russia who have dual citizenship may be mobilized and not be allowed to leave the country.

"For people with dual citizenship, while they are on the territory of Russia, the Russian passport dominates and they are treated as Russian citizens. They also have military obligations, because with the delivery of their Russian passport, they are also handed military papers....
