I came back to find my £90,000 Range Rover completely trashed – and was horrified when I discovered what caused it
A WOMAN returned to her £90,000 Range Rover to find it had been completely trashed – and was horrified when she found out what had caused it.
Owner Vicky Costantini, from Redwood City, California, had been visiting her holiday home in Arnold, a remote Californian community.

She said: “There were lots of lights going off, the hazards were on. The car was honking. We need to open it to figure out what was in there.”
After opening the boot by remote control, they found the reason as a young bear emerged from the back of the vehicle.
In the footage she later shared on social media, the bear can be seen leaving the boot of the car and fleeing into the nearby forest.

Constantini told local media: “It was foamy at the mouth when it came out. It was probably very dehydrated from having been in there so long. It was pretty desperate to get out.”
She said she believes the bear had spent up to seven hours inside her car.
The bear had found its way inside the vehicle after it had been left unlocked the previous night, Costantini assumes.
She said there had been a can of Altoids left in the SUV, which appears to be a Range Rover Epoque worth approximately £90,000, but thankfully the animal had not touched it.

The second piece of footage, which was filmed after the bear’s escape, shows the four-legged culprit had completely wrecked the interior.
Constantini joked: “I often say a bear ate my car. It is destroyed.

“It ripped apart the dash. It was trying to get through the car. Every single door panel is destroyed. Every single seat is ripped.
“But the worse part was the smell.”
