[Men's Soccer] Lancers Fall To Northwestern

Mount Marty went on the road for their only game of the week when they traveled to Northwestern College. The Red Raiders won 3-1 on Wednesday night. Mount Marty is now 5-2-2 overall and 1-2-2 in GPAC. Northwestern is 3-4-3 overall and 2-1-0 in GPAC.
Northwestern got on the board early when they scored in the 10th minute of the match. Both defenses settled into the game as they didn't allow another score in half. Northwestern was the first to strike in the second half when they scored five minutes into the half. In the 61st minute, the Lancers could find a goal when Matias Romero (SR/Neuquen, Argentina) scored a goal. Jorge Augero had seven saves on the night. Matias Romero had the lone goal for the Lancers. Gabriele Cavallari (JR/Budoia, Italy), Sloan Tshlienge, Savas Di Lascio (JR/Milan, Italy), and Samuel Baraka (SR/Paris, France) each added a shot on goal for MMU.
