I went to pick up my friend’s kid from nursery and didn’t realise until I got home that it was the WRONG child
A WOMAN has shared how she went to pick up a friend’s child from nursery only to discover when she got to the house that she had taken the wrong child.
Sharing her story on TikTok, Brianna Dunki, from the US< revealed the blunder lead her to be questioned by police.
Brianna said she agreed to pick up an acquaintance’s child and take them home to their siblings and relieve the babysitter until the mum came home.
She headed to the nursery where she gave them her name and the child’s name.
Brianna then picked up the child and drove them both home.
Once home, Brianna began making the child a snack when their ‘siblings’ came into the room.

But they then revealed that wasn’t their sibling and she had in fact picked up the wrong child.
She checked her phone and the mum had messaged her, writing: “YOU PICKED UP THE WRONG KID.’
Shortly after, the police called Brianna to question her and quickly realised how the mistake had been made.
The child had the same name but was in a different room, she claimed everyone involved was angry and some people even got fired because of the ordeal.

The initial video went viral with over 700k views, and the majority of people blamed the nursery staff for the mistake.
