According to an international study, scientists have found a three times larger reservoir than all the oceans on Earth's core. A zone of water exists between the upper and lower mantles of the Earth. The researchers used Raman and FTIR spectroscopy to analyze the rate of diamonds formed 660 meters below the surface of the Earth.
