Report from RNZ One person was killed last night when a vehicle hit a pedestrian on State Highway 3 at Turakina, south of Whanganui. Police said the crash happened about 11pm, and an investigation was being carried out. The scene has been examined by crash investigators this morning, and the road has reopened.
