YORKSHIRE Shepherdess Amanda Owen has taken her wedding ring off four months after announcing her split from husband Clive.

The Our Yorkshire Farm star made an appearance on Steph’s Packed Lunch today and the emblem of love was notably missing from her hand.

But she looked happier than ever walking around Leeds where the show is filmed, while taking a break from her busy farming life.

She told presenter Steph McGovern her split from Clive after 22 years was “a weird situation” adding: “But we’re actually all just fine, just getting on with it.”

Amanda, 48, announced in June she and Clive had split after 22 years together.

The pair first met in 1995 in Ravenseat, where Amanda had gone to ask for help.

Back then, Clive was single-handedly running Ravenseat Farm, in North Yorkshire, while Amanda was trying her hand at several odd jobs locally and in farms in Wiltshire and Cumbria.

The pair now share nine children, and Amanda has told of how tough the split was – especially as there were cameras around so often.

Speaking to ITV‘s Lorraine last week the farmer told presenter Christine Lampard: “It is really tough and it is a really difficult aspect of it to get across.

“But when you do reality [TV] it has to be just that. That means it covers the ups and downs and that can be on any level.”

“Life carries on on the farm,” she explained. “Obviously there is a whole raft of things to do – nine children, a whole heap of animals.

“We are just working away same as before.

“Because at the end of the day our priority remains, of course, to keep everything going. There you go, that’s how it is.”

While it’s unclear if fans of the estranged couple and Our Yorkshire Farm will see another series, Channel 5 has said they will work with the pair again.

In a short statement the broadcaster said they both “are very much a part of the Channel 5 family and we will continue to work with them in the future”.
