On October 21, 2021, during the filming of the movie “Rust,” actor Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun which discharged a live round and injured director Joel Souza and killed the director of photography Halyna Hutchins. Hutchins, 42, was rushed to a hospital in Albuquerque, where she was pronounced dead.
