Worried parents of trainee mountaineer from Guwahati, Deepshikha Hazarika (25), who went missing with several others of a 41-member mountaineering team after it met with an avalanche, while returning from Mount Draupadi Ka Danda-II peak in Uttarakhand on Tuesday, urged chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to initiate steps to rescue their daughter.
