To enhance its stronghold in the European e-bike market, Hero Cycles, in collaboration with a German investment trust, acquired Germany's HNF in January 2020. As part of the agreement, Hero Cycles supports the acquisition with its expertise in the low-cost automotive quality supply chain. Among others, HNF sources some e-bikes from Hero's facility in India.
