I’m in a ‘parking war’ with my neighbours who block our cul-de-sac rather than use their drives – but people are divided

A MOTORIST has uploaded videos to TikTok showing a ‘parking war’ they’re having with their neighbours.

TikTok user @kyle_b_ took to social media to show the situation on their cul-de-sac.

The cul-de-sac shown has large houses around it each with its own drive for parking multiple cars.

In a first video titled ‘Parking wars with neighbours pt1,’ the TikTok user shows three cars parked on the cul-de-sac rather than driveways.

The person filming walks out and gets into their car before moving it off their drive and passive-aggressively parking it on the cul-de-sac too.

In a second video titled ‘Parking war pt2,’ a silver Ford and black Mercedes are shown blocking the cul-de-sac.

One caption on the video reads: ‘Silver Ford Ka – doesn’t use his drive and that’s his parking space.’

Another reads: ‘The space wasn’t free for long – black Mercedes took it for a night.’

The video flicks through various images showing the silver Ford Ka parked blocking the cul-de-sac.

At the end of the video a black Mercedes is shown parked up next to the ford in the space the TikTok user had move to in the first video.

But people in the comments are divided over the people blocking cars from turning and not using their driveways.

One said: “As a delivery driver parking like this p****s me off its designed as somewhere to turn around not for parking”

But another said: “Why do people get so triggered by parking. I assume they pay tax and insurance and can park where they want.”

While a third said: “Just ignore it.”
