JSE-listed dissolving pulp and paper-based solutions company Sappi expects its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation, excluding special items, for the fourth quarter ended September 30 to be higher than that of the third quarter on the back of stronger-than-expected market conditions. Further, European energy prices, principally gas, were also lower than anticipated.
