On September 6, the high court had ordered DMRC to pay DAMEPL's dues within four weeks. DAMEPL is seeking total payment of ₹6.872.28 crore, as on May 10. DMRC has challenged certain points, including interest calculation. It estimates payment due to DAMEPL at about ₹5,097 crore plus interest from May till date of payment, It has so far paid ₹2,599.17 crore to DAMEPL.
