Coronation Street fans left open-mouthed by Tracy Barlow’s brutal insult to Wendy Crozier
CORONATION Street fans we’re left both open-mouthed and in hysterics as Tracy Barlow launched a foul-mouthed tirade at her father Ken and new girlfriend, Wendy Crozier.
Tracy let her feelings known when she launched a public attack on Wendy calling her a ‘trollop’ in front of shocked onlookers.
Fans of the ITV soap opera have seen Ken (William Roache) and Wendy (Roberta Kerr) grow close over recent weeks and now the pair have agreed to give their ‘companionship’ a go but have so far kept it secret.
One of the few individuals on the street to be privy to the information is bumbling Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) and it dosen’t take him long before he has spilled the beans to Ken’s daughter and Wendy’s enemy, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford).
Ken first begins to get rumbled during a chaotic play rehearsal with Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) and her questionable suggestions.
After Mary and Tracy suggest adding some improvised rapping to the play, in the style of Hamilton, with hilarious results, it isn’t long before Ken is found making his excuses to leave.

But in the process, Mary spies that he has lied about an emergency text from Daniel over ‘babysitting duties’ as she can see it was Wendy who in fact texted the street’s longest resident.
Mary soon finds herself ranting to Tracy and Brian in the pub about Wendy who she comically dubs ‘the WC’ but Brian ends up giving the game away and confirming Mary’s suggestion that there is more to the pair than meets the eye.
On the warpath, Tracy soon storms off.
Elsewhere, Ken is attending a book launch with Wendy from a feminist writer and is soon joined by son Daniel and girlfriend Daisy where Ken comes clean to the pair about his and Wendy’s new relationship.

As the Q&A at the event takes hold, Ken impresses the author with his line of questioning but all hell breaks loose when a scorned Tracy arrives and is left spitting feathers in front of the packed crowd.
As Ken places his arm around Wendy, an audible clap is heard as Tracy declares ‘bravo’ as the pair look on in horror at the impending scene.
A furious Tracy says: “There he is! Geriatrich gigolo!
“You just couldn’t help yourself, could you?
“You dirty dog!”
Tracy’s war of words quickly turns to Wendy: “I knew something was going on, and her of all people?
“The trollop you left my mother for?”

As Tracy questions who the author is and what everyone is doing there, Daisy informs her: “She’s a feminsit!”
A quick-witted Tracy responded: “Well I don’t blame you. Everybody should be a feminist around him. He’ll be after you next!”
Viewers we’re left both shocked and amused at the ironic exchange as one fan said: “Grow up Tracy. Almost 50 acting 15.”
Another remarked: “OMG! Tracy calls Wendy a trollop! ”
