Bloomberg: NATO, due to shortages, asked arms companies to increase production
Bloomberg reports that NATO has asked arms companies to increase production due to a shortage of stocks.
NATO countries, against the backdrop of a reduction in stockpiles of weapons, are calling on arms companies to increase production in order to replenish their warehouses and help Kyiv, Bloomberg reports, citing sources familiar with the situation.
“Some European countries that sent weapons to Kyiv are running out of stocks, it may take years to make up the deficit,” the agency said in a statement.
In this regard, as noted, the allied countries cannot provide Kyiv with the necessary weapons quickly enough.
