TOTTENHAM took a giant step towards the last 16 of the Champions League with a 3-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in North London.

Spurs made the worst possible start to the game when Eric Dier sloppily gave away possession in his own penalty area and Daichi Kamada tucked home to give the visitors the lead after 14 minutes.

But Antonio Conte’s men drew level in double quick time as Harry Kane slid Son Heung-min through before the South Korean calmly slotted in the equaliser.

And Tottenham were infront before the half hour mark as Kane was brought down inside the area and tucked away the penalty with ease.

Spurs then moved further in front in style nine minutes before half-time as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s cross was sumptuously volleyed in by Son.

Frankfurt were then reduced to 10 men on the hour as Tuta was dismissed for a second yellow card.

And the German side were given a lifeline when Faride Alidou headed in with three minutes remaining.
