EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy looks nothing like her character Sonia as she glams up for Attitude Awards
NATALIE Cassidy looks worlds away from her EastEnders character after glamming up for a glitzy night out.
The actress, 39, wowed in a black velvet trouser suit as she walked the red carpet at this year’s Attitude Awards in London.
Natalie turned up the heat thanks to a sexy lace vest top underneath her jacket and added some colour with mustard shoes and a matching clutch.
The mum-of-two topped off her look by stying her hair into a pretty up do – a far cry from Sonia Fowler’s usual drab appearance in Walford.
Natalie has played Sonia in EastEnders since she was 10 years old.
During her career in showbiz, she has often found herself in the spotlight due to her fluctuating weight.

Only recently, Natalie revealed she had dropped four dress sizes.
Natalie even released two weight-loss DVDs; Natalie Cassidy’s Then and Now in 2007, and The Perfect Ten in 2013.
Opening up on the Comfort Eating with Grace Dent podcast, the actress recently revealed the truth behind one of her DVD deals.
“I was very overweight and they approached me and said listen, we’re going to give you £100,000, we’re going to get you really fit and you’re going to lose four stone,” Natalie explained.
“I was like, ‘Happy days, let’s go for it’. I just thought, ‘That’s a lot of money’ but it wasn’t the right thing to do.

“It wasn’t – you are losing a lot of weight in a three or four-month period, twelve or sixteen weeks, low calories and training every day.
“I got there, and as soon as that DVD came out, I ate for England. I put all the weight back on in eight weeks.”
