Spurs half time ratings vs Frankfurt – Sensational Sonny

Hugo Lloris: Tried to dig out Dier after his mistake put could only punch the ball to a Frankfurt player.  Saved well from Lindstrom at his near post. 6.

Emerson Royal: Recalled to the starting eleven after sitting out the Brighton match through suspension. Still offering nothing going forward and conceded a foolish free-kick before the half. 5.

Cristian Romero: Solid as usual.  Nearly scored before the half. 6.

Eric Dier: Booked after eleven minutes after being caught in no man’s land and clattered into Muani.  Completely at fault for Kamada’s opener. 5.

Clement Lenglet: Returned in place of Davies, has tried on occasion to play long and get attacks started. 6.

Ryan Sessegnon: Made a mistake inside the first two minutes which gave Frankfurt a chance on goal. 6.

Rodrigo Bentancur: Releasing himself to go and press and has had a spring in his step.  Booked before half time. 7.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Ventured down the right and played a brilliant cross into Son to score his second. 7.

Richarlison: Has done well to track back defensively and act as a link between midfield and attack. 6.

Heung-min Son: Showed the composure that fans have previously been used to seeing to pull his side level.  His second was the South Korean at his best. 8.

Harry Kane: Linked up well to thread the ball through to Son to score.  Earned his side a penalty and dispatched it emphatically past Trapp. 7.
