I drive for Walmart – people always say the same thing to me while in uniform and it’s made me feel bad about my body
A WALMART trucker has revealed the common thought process around workers for the big box supply chain.
While some internet users think this mode of thought is outdated, one TikToker claims that it happens, and it makes her feel strange about her own body.
Rowan, @great_value_trucker on TikTok boasts an account name that reflects the store brand of the nationally beloved store.
She drives Walmart goods in a mack truck, normally updating her viewers on her trucking adventures and in one TikTok, she tells users about a common, offensive, and stereotypical comment that she has gotten multiple times.
“When someone says to me while I’m in uniform – ‘Walmart only hires old white men,'” the text overlay of the video reads while Rowan munches on a frosted cupcake.
Continuing her thought, the young trucker captioned the video: “It has happened. Like, I’m (beginning) to worry if I have body dysmorphia and I actually look like an old man.”
One comment called out the hilarity of the untrue statement, saying, “I cannot stop laughing.”
Another comment called attention to the outdated nature of the statement, adding “Everyone that says that to you is probably still living in the 70s.”
In another video by Rowan, she calls out the same shady remark.
She used a comment that read, “No hate, but why are all Walmart drivers older white men,” as a text overlay for her video that shows off her truck, and her uniform.

Calling out the original trolling comment, a TikTok user commented: “Yessss……I can see how he confused you for an old white man,” with two facepalm emojis.
“This guy posted this on every WM Driver account,” they continued.
Turning the attention of the conversation onto Rowan’s massive Walmart work truck, one user said, “Your truck is beautiful.”
And, just in case somebody doesn’t believe she isn’t an old white man, Rowan captioned her video, “I pushed out a baby once,” complete with a shrug emoji.
