Mexican town mayor, officials freed after brief kidnapping

MEXICO CITY, Mexico: Miguel Angel Riquelme, governor of the border state of Coahuila, has announced that Mario Cedillo Infante, mayor of Guerrero, and a group of local officials who were reported kidnapped by armed men have been freed.

Earlier, officials in Coahuila said Cedillo Infante was abducted, along with eight other people, on the night of October 14 after being pursued by two trucks carrying armed men in
