Taiwan minister writes $940 million in business in Silicon Valley

TAIPEI, Taiwan: Taiwan's economics minister Wang Mei-hua has attracted new business worth $940 million during meetings with top executives from four major tech firms in California's Silicon Valley, the ministry said this week.

Wang visited the U.S. to respond to "concerns" about supply chains and geopolitical issues, her office said.
