S.Korea's money supply growth slows in August

SEOUL, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's money supply growth slowed down in August due to higher interest rates, central bank data showed Tuesday.

The seasonally-adjusted M2, or broad money, amounted to 3,744.1 trillion won (2.62 trillion U.S. dollars) in August, up 7.2 percent from a year earlier, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
