WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup Day 6 - live updates: Korea ties it, Colombia win and qualify for Super Round, Mexico beat Cuba
Group B of the IV WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup is back at Tianmu Stadium in Taipei City. The daily programme includes one of the four makeup games, Puerto Rico-Australia. Both the National Teams will play a doubleheader today.
Since Tianmu Stadium will host all four games, the pre-game ceremonies, including National Anthems, are cancelled for the day.
The ground crew worked in the morning to get the field ready. WBSC Technical Commission postponed the first pitch of game 1 to 10:30. During the whole day, the pre-game warm-up will be inside the batting cages.

Puerto Rico took the lead on a home run by Shawn Ross in the top of the fifth-
Puerto Rico defended the lead with great defense by catcher Jonathan Nieves.

Korea tied the game in the bottom of the seventh on a base hit by Seunghwan Song.
Cuba-Mexico 2-0
A pinch-hit double by Bryan Gonzalez off reliever Yamil Castillo gave Cuba the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh.
Cuba hit three consecutive hits with one out in the second, but Mexico's starter Esteban Bloch got out of the jam.
Reliever Marlon Vega got Cuba out of a jam in the fourth. He had Brandon Valenzuela ground into an inning-ending double play.
Bryan Gonzalez doubled off the wall to put Cuba ahead in the top of the seventh.
Cuba scored an insurance run on a wild pitch.
Frank Alvarez took care of the three final outs, allowing just a walk.
Colombia-Germany 7-0
Colombia shut out Germany, getting the win they needed to clinch a spot in the Super Round.
They qualified as the number three seed out of Group A, behind Chinese Taipei and Japan, and will start the Super Round with a 0-2 record.
Jorge Porta doubled off submarine pitcher Samuel Steigert, and Daniel Aguilar scored the game's first run. The home plate umpire initially called an out, and the play underwent an on-field review.
Colombia made it 2-0 on another double by Roger Caraballo.
Colombia opened the score in the bottom of the third.
A home run by Jair Camargo made it 6-0.
Colombia added a run in the fifth. Santiago Florez pitched five innings for the win.
