Tourist sexually assaulted by Majorca hotel worker as another guest finds man on top of screaming victim in her bedroom
A TOURIST has been sexually assaulted by a hotel worker while on holiday in Majorca.
Authorities were called to the scene after a hotel guest saw a man on top of the victim as she screamed for help.
A 56-year-old security guard at the Playa de Palma hotel was arrested following the alleged attack.
The woman returned to her hotel in the early hours of October 13, when the suspect stormed into her room, Ultima Hora reports.
A guest who was staying in the room next door told officers that she could see the woman through the balcony.
The eyewitness reported seeing the tourist in bed with a man on top of her, screaming for help.

The man is thought to have left the room after he realised the hotel guest had spotted him.
The alleged victim, from Sweden, rushed to the hotel’s reception where she informed the staff of what happened.
The hotel workers alerted the police who arrived at the hotel and arrested the 56-year-old.
The suspect, of Spanish nationality, initially denied having entered the woman’s room and said she was on edge and shouting.

He added that he couldn’t understand what she was saying.
He later admitted that he entered the bedroom but only to try to calm her down.
Back in June another tourist reported being repeatedly raped by two teens who broke into her hotel room in Majorca while she slept.
Two German nationals said to be aged 17 and 18, have been arrested in wake of the incident on June 21.
