Congrats, titas! Mary Grace’s ensaymadas are back
MANILA, Philippines – The Earth is healing, because Mary Grace’s recently elusive ensyamadas are finally back in our lives!
Just in time for Christmas, the homegrown bakeshop’s well-loved classic returns to the menu after months of being out of stock. Mary Grace announced its October return on Facebook, describing its signature Mary Grace ensaymada as being made with 100% real butter and eggs, and topped with premium Edam cheese from Holland.
In late September, Mary Grace also announced the return of the Manchego Ensaymada, also another favorite variant of the Filipino pastry. This version uses premium Manchego cheese from Spain, which is milder and less salty than the classic queso de bola, but “equally delicious.”
Both ensayamadas are available again for dine-in our takeout in boxes from Mary Grace stores and kiosks nationwide, as well as for delivery via website.
In May, Mary Grace announced a store-wide “ensaymada shortage” after customers started to notice that the pastry was always out of stock in stores. The brand cited “global supply issues on a few raw materials” as the reason behind the shortage. – Rappler.com
