Next Premier League manager sacked odds: Steven Gerrard on the BRINK at Aston Villa after price collapses overnight
STEVEN GERRARD is on the brink at Aston Villa.
That’s according to bookmakers Betfair, who’ve SLASHED odds on the Liverpudlian being the next Premier League manager relieved of his duties.

Gerrard was the even-money favourite to become the fifth managerial casualty of the 2022-23 campaign.
However, his price has dropped to 1/9 overnight to follow Scott Parker, Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Bruno Lage, who’ve all left their positions.
It’s been an underwhelming spell for the 42-year-old at Villa Park.
The Villans produced a better performance but still failed to score and succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday.
The result leaves the Midlands club in 16th position with nine points from a possible 30 having registered ONE victory since August 14.

The loss follows two draws against Nottingham Forest and ten-man Leeds with supporters unhappy with the lack of attacking guile.
Only Wolves have scored less goals than Aston Villa (7) with Gerrard jeered as he made his way down the tunnel on Sunday.
Gerrard said: “I’d be stupid not to be aware of where we’re at and accept that. Every time I have spoken I have fronted that up, I won’t hide from the criticism.
“I heard a group singing from the Holte End, I’m aware of it all. I have to accept it and try to do everything I can to change the way they are feeling.”
Southampton’s Ralph Hasenhuttl is next at 8/1 with the club now slipping into the relegation zone and without a win in five.
Brendan Rodgers follows next at 10/1, ahead of Steve Cooper (16/1) and Leeds boss Jesse Marsch (20/1).
