I’m a savvy mum – here’s why you should go to theme parks like Alton Towers on rainy days, it’ll save you loads
TRYING to keep the kids entertained during school holidays is always a hard task, especially if it’s raining.
But now a savvy mum has revealed why you should head to theme parks like Alton Towers on those wet and windy days.
Taking to TikTok, Holly Smith, known online as @hollyvlogsoffical, explained that if it rains continuously for more than one hour during your visit to the theme park, then parents can apply for a replacement ticket on another day.
She said: “As you can probably see, I’m currently at Alton Towers, and I want to come on here with a money-saving tip because it has been raining for over an hour so far.
“If you buy your tickets online at the Alton Towers website and it rains continuously for over one hour, you get a free ticket to return.
“That wasn’t our plan, we don’t really want to be in the rain, but I wanted to share it as a money-saving tip.”
