TIPPING Point host Ben Shepard has witnessed some big wins on the show since it began in 2012.
From insanely large jackpots to the biggest ever drop, there have been some very lucky contestants on the ITV show.

In 2020, lucky contestant Clive took home a whopping £20,000 jackpot, making him the highest-winning contestant ever.
Clive had Ben tearing up as he managed to tip over a double jackpot token in the game’s final round.
The show’s winner couldn’t believe his luck and said to Ben: “I am knocked over. Thank you so much.”
Ben was astounded by Clive’s win, saying: “Clive, I have stood in front of this machine over a thousand times.
“The only time that has happened was when it was on a tray that didn’t get taken. Clive, you’ve done it. I can’t believe you have done it!”
The pair both hugged as neither could believe what had just happened.

Clive was the first contestant to ever bag the double jackpot in Tipping Point’s history.
The second contestant to win was retired gardener Tom in 2021.
Tom managed to fend off competition from three other contestants before tipping over a double jackpot token in the final round.
Ben praised him for “dominating” the previous rounds, before adding: “It’s only ever been won once by Clive. You are joining a very elite group.”
What is the record drop on Tipping Point?
Host Ben was left shocked when he witnessed the biggest drop ever on the show.
Contestant Ruth managed to successfully drop 19 counters, which raised her from £700 to £3,150 in just one turn.
Viewers were left speechless and branded the win as the “biggest drop” ever witnessed.

Where is the Tipping Point studio based?
Tipping Point is filmed at The Bottle Yard Studios which is located in Hengrove, Bristol.
These studios are also home to the Crystal Maze on Channel 4.
Interior scenes from Poldark and Sherlock have also been shot there.
Tipping Point is filmed in three-month blocks from Monday to Wednesday, with up to four shows filmed each day.
Host Ben Shephard bases himself in Bristol for the three filming days, before making his way back to London to present Good Morning Britain on Thursdays and Fridays.
He also hosts Sky Sports coverage at the weekends.

“It’s one of those things, that for a very concentrated part of the year, my work schedule gets very hectic.”
He added: “It gets a bit easier out of the football season, but the good thing about GMB is that it finishes early, so I can pick my boys up from school and hang out.”
