My boyfriend won’t text me back for a whole day – am I wasting my time with him?
DEAR DEIDRE: IS it acceptable for a boyfriend to wait a whole day to reply to my messages? I don’t think it is.
I met this guy two months ago. He’s 27 and in the military. I’m 23 and I’m a hairdresser.

We had three really nice dates when he was home on leave but now he is back in the barracks away from home.
He says he can’t message all the time because he is busy with work.
He might be, but sometimes he doesn’t reply to a text until the next day.
He can’t be working such long hours that he doesn’t get a break to go on his phone.
