Small passenger plane crashes into car dealership

A small passenger plane crashed into a car dealership on Tuesday morning.

The aircraft went down around 7am in the small Ohio city of Marietta. It crashed into the Pioneer Buick GMC dealership, damaging vehicles and the building.

The Ohio Highway Patrol reported at least two casualties, including the pilot and one passenger. No casualties were reported on the ground.

The aircraft was a passenger plane capable of carrying 10 passengers. It is currently unclear how many people were onboard when the crash occurred.

The plane caught on fire immediately after the crash, but it has since been put out.

The plane was a 1974 Beechcraft King Air 90. It was en route to Parkersburg, West Virginia after taking off in Columbus, Ohio, according to online flight tracker FlightAware.
