Emmerdale spoilers: Chas Dingle manipulates son Aaron into decision to hide her affair
CHAS Dingle has been sneaking around behind her husband Paddy’s back and her son Aaron knows all about it.
Desperate to keep her affair with Al Chapman a secret, she goes as far as to blackmail her own flesh and blood next week in Emmerdale.

For months, Chas has been having an affair with businessman Al Chapman (portrayed by Michael Wildman).
And after being caught once by Belle Dingle, she thought a potential crisis had been avoided when she vowed to put an end to her affair.

Little did she know her son Aaron (Danny Miller) feels he owes his stepfather Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) the truth after finding out Chas may have no intention of ending things with Al.
After the dramatic events of Emmerdale’s semicentennial, Chas worries Aaron will spill the beans.
Paddy urges Aaron to patch things up with Chas, unaware of her affair with Al, and Aaron reluctantly agrees.
He then accuses his mother of still being with Al, which Chas vehemently denies.

Determined to do anything to keep her illicit romance a secret, Chas stoops to a new low.
Chas emotionally blackmails Aaron into backing down and she’s relived when she successfully pushes him towards the option to leave the village entirely.
Aaron already left the Dales in 2021, after being made to believe his half-sister Liv was responsible for his boyfriend Ben Tucker’s death.
While Aaron makes the decision to get out of the eponymous village once again, Chas covers as her husband Paddy expresses sadness at the news.

Chas isn’t the only one desperate to keep her affair under wraps as Al is just as adamant on not causing a scandal within his own relationship with Kerry Wyatt.
To make things worse, she asked him to marry her, which he accepted despite telling Chas he was ready to build a future with her.
